CBI searches 12 locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune over builder-financial institution nexus

The CBI has registered five new criminal cases against builders and financial institutions. These cases stem from alleged links that defrauded numerous homebuyers across India. Searches were conducted at twelve locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune for evidence. Incriminating documents and digital devices were seized during these searches. The agency has now registered fifty-five cases against builders on court orders.
