Football is big business. An investor group led by Amit Bhatia that includes Jeff Bezos has acquired a 38% stake in Liverpool FC, valuing it at around $7.5 billion. Even city affiliations can go global as consumer brands. There’s little that’s English about the club today, let alone Liverpudlian.
