Harlan and Anna Hubbard led a life of independence along the Ohio River, constructing their cabin in 1952 and inhabiting it for numerous years. Upon their death, a friend inherited the land and preserved its original charm. In 2022, a nonprofit organization took over the 61-acre property, aiming for educational initiatives and the restoration of its historic structures.
