St. Xavier’s University launched its inaugural BTech batch at the Xavier School of Engineering and Technology. All 240 seats were filled across four engineering programs offered by the new school. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized nurturing ethically grounded and socially responsible engineers for national development. IIT Kharagpur’s director urged students to prepare for future professions and emerging societal challenges. Potential collaborations between XSET and IIT Kharagpur were also discussed during the event.
