India’s overall fuel demand saw a slight decrease of 2.8 percent in August compared to last year. Gasoline consumption increased by 8.2 percent, and diesel demand rose by 6.8 percent during the same period. Cooking gas sales experienced a significant drop of 17.2 percent, while naphtha usage also declined. Bitumen sales for road construction showed a strong increase of 19.8 percent. Fuel oil use edged up by 4.
