Police apprehended two MLCs from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi on Tuesday for reportedly disrespecting the Telangana Assembly Speaker. The situation escalated when the authorities barred them from entering the Assembly building. In light of this, a case has been initiated under applicable sections of the BNS and SC/ST Act. The detained MLCs are scheduled to be presented in court for remand hearings.
