Kent’s red-billed chough population has reached thirty-five birds this summer. Eight wild-born chicks successfully fledged, bringing the total to nine since their return. The species was reintroduced to Kent after a two-hundred-year absence. Habitat restoration efforts have significantly aided their successful re-establishment. Further releases and ongoing research will support their continued growth.
