Indian refiners buy Middle East and West African crude, sources say

Indian refiners have stepped up crude oil purchases, with Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals buying 1 million barrels of Oman crude through a tender, according to trade sources. The cargo was purchased at a premium of about $3 a barrel over dated Brent, with Mitsui & Co Energy Trading Singapore identified as the seller.
