Karan Rajendra Darda elected INS president for 2026-27

Karan Rajendra Darda of Lokmat has been appointed president of The Indian Newspaper Society for the 2026-27 term, succeeding Vivek Gupta. His main focus will be on safeguarding press freedom and bolstering the industry. Alongside him, Tanmay Maheshwari of Amar Ujala will take office as deputy president, while Harsha Mathew from Vanitha assumes the role of vice president.
