Four family members died instantly when their car hit a stone culvert near Doddakari village. The deceased were residents of Mysuru and were returning from Tirumala early Monday morning. Three other passengers sustained injuries and are currently receiving hospital treatment. The driver may have dozed off, causing the vehicle to veer off the road. This stretch of the Chennai Expressway has seen numerous accidents and fatalities.
