A jilted lover consumed poison during a 22-kilometer police chase in Delhi. He had abducted an 11-year-old boy to pressure his sister into marriage. Police rescued the boy after tracking the accused from Loni to Delhi. The accused was fleeing by bus and is now hospitalized in custody.
