BSNL’s indigenous 4G network is handling six petabytes of data daily. The network supports 1.75 lakh 4G base stations across one lakh sites. High-definition voice calls are now enabled through IP Multimedia Subsystem deployment. Indigenous 5G RAN technology is currently undergoing live testing on BSNL’s network. BSNL aims to compete with private operators using its domestically developed mobile network.
