Meet Shruti Dhariwal, the Indian innovator shaping how kids learn AI

Shruti Dhariwal, an Indian researcher and MIT Media Lab doctoral alumna, is exploring how children can move beyond simply using AI to creating and experimenting with it. After studying computer science and management in India and developing educational games at MadRat Games, Dhariwal joined MIT, where she researched creative learning, coding and play. Her current work centres on CoCo, a co-creative computing and AI education platform designed to help children and teenagers learn collaboratively while developing creativity and critical thinking.
