Cracking down on fire safety violations, the Odisha Fire and Emergency Service (OFES) has issued notices to around 800 buildings allegedly operating without mandatory fire safety certificates and will launch a month-long statewide enforcement and awareness drive from Sept 15 to improve compliance and strengthen preparedness.
