Karen Khachanov’s parents, Abgar and Nataliya, gave him his first chance to play tennis at just three years old. Abgar is an Armenian former high-level volleyball player who studied medicine, while Nataliya is Russian and also worked in medicine. Their support helped Karen develop his talent, while his family background shaped his strong connection to both Armenia and Russia.
