India’s food regulator FSSAI has ordered CG Foods India to stop producing veg bhujia. This action follows an inspection revealing significant hygiene and licensing rule violations. The company was found re-processing floor-collected noodles without proper heat treatment. Unlicensed manufacturing and predated packaging were also identified during the inspection. FSSAI seized over 32,000 kg of stock and initiated legal proceedings.
