The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has introduced stricter monitoring measures for institute-level technical education admissions for 2026–27. Selected private colleges will have Observers from nearby government colleges to oversee document verification, merit lists, fee payments and seat allotment. The entire process must also be conducted under CCTV surveillance, with recordings preserved as prescribed. The CET Cell has warned of strict legal and administrative action against institutes found violating admission rules.
