Delhi government is implementing a comprehensive pollution control strategy for the upcoming season. Nearly 78,000 old heavy vehicles are targeted for voluntary transition to cleaner models. District-level task forces will identify pollution hotspots and devise local engineering solutions. Construction waste collection sites have been expanded, and dust monitoring is intensified. Stricter pollution control measures will be enforced from November first, irrespective of GRAP stages.
