Denver waived forward/center Julian Reese on Aug. 28, 2026, ten days after acquiring him from Washington in the Peyton Watson sign-and-trade. Reese, 23, went undrafted out of Maryland in 2025, played 13 games for the Wizards last season on a two-way deal, and averaged 11.8 points and 10.5 rebounds. He’s the brother of WNBA star Angel Reese. Denver now has one open two-way roster spot.
