Ludwig Ahgren’s 2021 Twitch subathon began with a 30-minute timer and a simple idea. Every Tier 1 or gifted subscription added seconds to the clock, keeping the broadcast alive far longer than expected. What Ludwig thought might last 24 to 48 hours became 31 days of sleeping, showering, moderating and streaming in public. He eventually ended with 282,191 subscribers, broke Ninja’s record and later moved to YouTube Gaming for good.
