Big Cine Expo, the annual gathering that brings together theatre owners, equipment manufacturers, design consultants and other stakeholders from the cinema exhibition industry, held its 2026 edition in Chennai on August 18 and 19. Among the highlights of this year’s event was an exclusive 15-minute footage preview from Nitesh Tiwari directed, Yash and Ranbir Kapoor fronted ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, arguably the most anticipated Indian film of the year, which was showcased to attendees on the opening day.
