Singtel seeks FDI approval to enter India’s satellite communications market

Ashwagandha, a staple of Ayurvedic medicine in India for centuries, has gained attention for its purported health benefits. Harvard Health indicates that it is generally safe for short-term use by healthy individuals. However, evidence supporting its safety for extended periods is scarce, which calls for medical advice before incorporating it into daily regimens.

Till now, women employees were eligible for one-year paid maternity leave for the first and second children, and 12 weeks for the third child. Now the women get the same benefit for the third child too. The announcement follows years of litigation over capping maternity benefits at two children.

At 14:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex tanked 342.81 points or 0.44% to 77,385.35. The Nifty 50 index lost 92.60 points or 0.38% to 24,197.
