Govt tightens rules on combinations containing 2 chemical compounds for young children

The government has restricted fixed-dose combinations containing Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride. These medicines are now prohibited for use in children below four years of age. Manufacturers must clearly display a warning on all associated product packaging.
