Sam Kendricks’ wife, Leanne Zimmer, was also a college athlete at Ole Miss. She competed mainly in the 800 meters and later moved into higher education work. The couple married in 2017 and have a son. Kendricks won Olympic bronze in 2016 and silver in 2024 after missing Tokyo because of a positive COVID-19 test.
