Bribes.fyi, the crowdsourced anti-bribery platform created by Aryan Nishad, has been temporarily shut down after going unexpectedly viral, recording more than 5 million requests and around 200,000 new users in 48 hours, according to a LinkedIn update. The team says it plans to return after putting stronger legal and financial infrastructure in place. The development has also prompted calls for lawyers and Chartered Accountants to help address concerns around verification, misuse, privacy, legal risks and platform governance.
