Vedanta invests over $1 bn in net-zero transition in FY26

Vedanta invested over one billion dollars in net-zero transition initiatives during FY26. Renewable energy use increased by fifty-two percent, reaching four billion units. The company now has nearly two thousand megawatts of renewable energy capacity. These efforts avoided three million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions. Greenhouse gas emissions intensity declined by approximately fourteen percent from a baseline.
