Forty girls marched to Kukshi police station late Sunday night. They complained about overcrowding and poor food quality in their tribal hostel. The hostel housed 150 students despite a sanctioned capacity of only sixty. Following the girls’ complaint, the hostel warden was suspended. Arrangements are being made to move eighty-nine girls to a nearby government school.
