The excavation of the initial tunnel beneath Sanjay Gandhi National Park has commenced, a critical step in the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road project. These two tunnels will facilitate a vital connection between Film City in Goregaon East and Amar Nagar in Mulund West. Comprised of four phases, the project is designed to improve east-west transportation using advanced safety measures, with completion expected by February 2029.
