One person died and nineteen were rescued after a building collapsed in Kolkata’s Jorabagan area. Rescue teams from NDRF and DMG launched operations to evacuate those trapped under the debris. A woman died after the structure collapsed while she was trying to evacuate the building. Her husband and two sons managed to escape the collapsing structure in time.
