Gujarat ATS and Balotra Police apprehended eight individuals involved in crude oil theft. The gang illegally tapped the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery pipeline near Kaludi village. They conducted reconnaissance for six months before puncturing the pipeline to siphon oil. Stolen crude oil was reportedly sold to a trader in Beawar. Police are investigating the wider supply network and potential accomplices.
