Parliamentary standing committee on transport suggests overhaul of the state bus transport system

Headed by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar, the committee on transport, tourism and culture presented its 392nd report on “Enabling Inclusive, Digital and Sustainable Bus Transport: Policy, Regulation and Public-Private Partnership for Next-Gen Mobility” on Tuesday, calling for greater safety of passengers and enhanced accountability of bus operators.
