Chicago recently released ninety thousand rubber ducks into its river. This annual Ducky Derby event supports Special Olympics Illinois through duck adoptions. Thousands watched the yellow ducks race down the river for charity. The event has raised over five million dollars for the organization since 2005. Funds support training and healthcare for thousands of athletes and young athletes.
