Solar powers non-fossil capacity past 300 GW

India’s non-fossil power capacity has crossed 300 GW, reaching 60% of its 500-GW target for 2030. Solar leads with 164.59 GW, while non-fossil sources now account for more than 54% of the country’s total installed generation capacity.
