Temple authorities must manage VIP visits to avoid disrupting ordinary devotees. Mobile phones will be prohibited inside temple premises to maintain sanctity. Designated facilities will be created outside temples for depositing phones safely. A small fee will be collected for depositing mobile phones with proper receipts. These new rules will be fully implemented in major temples from September 1, 2026.
