Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train service to start soon, travel time little over 2 hours: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that India’s first bullet train will start soon. It will reduce travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The train will cover 508 km, connecting major cities. New railway projects are also underway in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The government has laid 34,000 km of new tracks and is redeveloping 1,300 railway stations.
