Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has taken premature retirement from the Indian Air Force. He is now training abroad to fly ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft. Abhinandan will reportedly operate flights for regional airline FLY91 in Goa. The airline welcomes many defense officers for their second careers. FLY91 recently ordered forty ATR 72-600 aircraft globally.

The court has quashed the prosecution, which arose from an allegation that the man had sold a 600-ml bottle of cold drink for Rs 26 even though its MRP was Rs 25. The allegation concerned an overcharge of Re 1. The man was working at his wife’s shop when the incident took place.
