Resident doctors at AIIMS Nagpur have called off their protest after police and hospital authorities assured them of stronger security following the alleged assault of a junior resident doctor inside the ICU. The doctors had also raised concerns over VIP culture and sought institutional action against violence and alleged attempts to influence hospital operations.
