Maharashtra has recorded 50,153 admissions to Direct Second Year Engineering courses for 2026-27, an increase of 7,421 from the previous academic year. The State CET Cell conducted four CAP rounds and an institutional round for 53,328 available seats. A total of 70,038 candidates registered, while 3,175 CAP quota seats remained vacant. The official release also provides round-wise admission figures and admission statistics for the previous three academic years.
