Russian pistol coach Yury Lisichko arrived in India in 2009 for a one-year assignment with the Indian Army. Years later, his Greater Noida workshop has become a stop for shooters seeking the right pistol grip. From Anish Bhanwala and Manu Bhaker to Jitu Rai and Sarabjot Singh, shooters have worked with Lisichko, who studies their hands, modifies fresh pieces of wood and keeps adjusting until the pistol and shooter work together.
