A scammer allegedly posing as Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Eli Heidenreich conned two Pennsylvania women out of $1,000 through multiple financial transactions in July. The victims, aged 20 and 50, are both from Avella. Pennsylvania State Police have not identified a suspect and are seeking information. Heidenreich, a Pittsburgh native, was selected 230th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft and has yet to play in an NFL game.
