Seema has added a major medal to her growing career. The long-distance runner from Himachal Pradesh won the bronze medal in the women’s 10,000m at the Asian Games 2026 in Japan, clocking 32:50.05. Her bronze was India’s first athletics medal at the Asian Games 2026. It was also India’s first women’s 10,000m medal at the Asian Games since 2010.
