A depression over the Bay of Bengal is set to cross the north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coast late Wednesday into Thursday. Malkangiri has deployed 220 JCBs, ODRAF teams and cyclone shelters as red alerts cover several districts, with heavy to very heavy rain forecast through September 25.
