A tempo driver was arrested for allegedly molesting a ten-year-old girl. The incident occurred in the Turbhe MIDC area on Sunday afternoon. The girl’s mother found her daughter visibly scared inside the accused’s room. Police registered a case under the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused was produced before a Belapur court and remanded to judicial custody.
