A 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS spent decades hidden away in Pennsylvania after an engine fire left it stored and largely forgotten. The rare grand tourer eventually emerged after about 44 years and went to auction in 2014. Despite its burned engine and unfinished restoration state, its rarity, provenance and low production numbers made it highly desirable to collectors. It sold for$2.0625 million, turning a long-neglected Ferrari into one of the most talked-about barn-find auction cars of its time.
