Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery’s relationship grew from their shared Iowa basketball background before Clark became a WNBA star. McCaffery played six seasons at Iowa, then moved into basketball development and coaching. After two seasons at Butler, he returned to professional basketball in 2026 as a player development assistant with the Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ G League affiliate.
