Police rescued a man abducted after a Ganesh idol procession dispute. Four individuals were arrested while transporting the victim towards Basti. The victim had previously named one of the accused in a related complaint. Interrogation revealed the victim was forced to sign documents at an MP’s residence. Investigators are examining the recovered documents and the circumstances of the signatures.
