Bajaj Finance on Thursday reported 28% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 6,081 crore, compared with Rs 4,765 crore in the last year quarter. Net interest income in the reporting period increased 23% YoY to Rs 12,571 crore.
Hyundai Motor India reported a net profit of Rs 889 crore for Q1 FY27. This represents a significant 35% decrease from the previous year’s earnings. Revenue from operations saw a slight dip to Rs 16,335 crore. EBITDA also tumbled 31% year-on-year to Rs 1,512 crore. The company experienced a challenging quarter due to multiple headwinds.
Swiggy Q1 Results: The online food and grocery delivery platform reported a 37% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs 6,812 crore in the April–June quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 4,961 crore in the year-ago period.
J.P. Morgan has brought forward its forecast for the next US Federal Reserve rate hike to December 2026 after the Fed held interest rates steady in July. The brokerage cited persistent inflation risks, while market expectations and analyst views remain divided over the policy outlook.
